Cork City Council proposes to make the above entitled Bye-Laws, setting Special Speed Limits in respect of public roads within the City of Cork in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 as amended by Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 2016.
The draft Cork City Road Traffic (Special Speed Limit) Bye-Laws 2024 will be available for public inspection during the period of Monday the 4th March 2024 to Wednesday the 10th April 2024:

at the Reception Desk, City Hall, Anglesea Street, Cork between 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
Submissions on the draft bye-laws may be made either;

Any submissions must be made before 5pm on Wednesday the 10th April 2024.
All comments, including names and addresses of those making submissions and observations, submitted to Cork City Council regarding this review, may form part of a report presented at the monthly meeting of Cork City Council. Accordingly, they will be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain. Cork City Council will retain data for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with the Council's Data Protection Policy and Privacy Statement (available to view on www.corkcity.ie) and relevant Data Protection legislation.
